Pricing varies depending on the type of cuisine, number of guests and hours of service:

What's included

A food truck service includes the fitted vehicle, cooking equipment, ingredients, kitchen and service staff, stall setup and post-service cleaning of the work area. Do food trucks need an electricity or water connection?

It depends on the vehicle. Some food trucks are fully self-sufficient with their own generator, while others need a power or water point at the event venue. Check with the supplier before confirming the booking to make sure the space meets the requirements.

How much space does a food truck need to park and operate?

Most food trucks need a space of between 6 and 10 metres in length and 3 metres in width, plus a queuing area for guests. Vehicle access is also required. Check the exact dimensions with the supplier before confirming the event venue.

Can more than one food truck be hired for the same event?

Yes. For festivals, large weddings or corporate events it is common to hire several food trucks with different cuisines to offer more variety to guests. Some suppliers manage fleets of several vehicles and can coordinate the entire service.

What permits are needed to have a food truck at a private venue?

At private venues such as estates or private gardens, a specific municipal permit is usually not required, although the food truck must have its health documentation in order and public liability insurance. At public spaces or fairgrounds a local authority permit may be required. The supplier will advise you on which formalities are the responsibility of each party.
