Bouncy castle hire for communions and birthday parties

Bouncy castles are the most popular attraction for communions, children's birthday parties, school fetes and outdoor family events. On Artistealo you can compare providers with photos of their equipment, real reviews and prices, and get a free quote.

How much does it cost to hire a bouncy castle?

The price varies depending on size, type of inflatable and hire duration. As a rough guide:

• Small bouncy castle (up to 3×3 m, half day): from €80 to €150
• Medium castle or slide (4×4 m, full day): from €150 to €350
• Large castle or combo with slide and play area: from €300 to €600

Most professionals include transport, setup and takedown in the price. Some also offer supervision during the event.

Types of inflatables available

Beyond the classic bouncy castle, Artistealo professionals offer inflatable slides, combo units with castle and slide, obstacle courses, trampolines and full inflatable parks for larger events. There are themed models (princesses, superheroes, animals) that can be matched to your party theme.

Frequently asked questions

How much space does a bouncy castle need?

A standard castle (3×3 m) needs at least 4×4 m of clear floor space and 4–5 m of headroom. Slide or combo models may need 5×6 m or more. Always specify the available space when requesting a quote.

Can they be used indoors?

Yes, as long as the ceiling is high enough (minimum 4 m for standard models). They are commonly used in sports halls, event marquees and celebration venues with high ceilings.

Is it safe? Who supervises the children?

Inflatables from approved providers carry CE certification and public liability insurance. Adult supervision of children while using the inflatable is the responsibility of those present. Some providers include a monitor in the price.

How far in advance should I book?

For communions and spring parties (May–June) we recommend booking 1–2 months ahead. For weekday bookings, 1–2 weeks is usually sufficient.
