Stromboli Jazz Band is a professional traditional jazz, swing and dixieland formation created in 2012 in the Camp de Tarragona. With more than 650 performances, the band has established itself as a solid proposal within the circuit of festivals, cultural programs and events of all kinds. The quintet consists of trombone, trumpet, banjo/ukulele, tuba and drums, a configuration that offers a powerful and authentic sound inspired by the tradition of New Orleans. Their repertoire combines great Dixieland classics and jazz standards with original adaptations of other styles, always with a fresh and dynamic approach. The show stands out for its musical quality, stage presence and interaction with the audience. The band incorporates elements of humour and theatricality that turn each performance into a participatory and close experience, always maintaining a high artistic level. They have participated in national and international festivals, as well as in major festivals, jazz cycles, municipal programs, corporate events and street shows. Team

Stromboli Jazz Band is made up of 5 professional musicians: Raül Cid – trombone, vocals, direction Josué García – trumpet Ton Solé – banjo and ukulele Ismael Carles – tuba Adrià Mort – drums The base formation is a quintet, although it can be expanded or reduced to adapt according to the needs of the event.

Since its creation in 2012, Stromboli Jazz Band has performed more than 650 performances, consolidating itself as a reference formation in the field of traditional jazz, swing and dixieland. The band has participated in prestigious festivals such as the International Dixieland Festival in Tarragona, the San Sebastian Jazz Festival, the Gliwice Traditional Jazz Festival and the International Dixieland Festival in Cantanhede, as well as numerous jazz cycles, festivals and cultural programmes both nationally and internationally. Throughout its history, the group has performed in theaters, auditoriums, squares, open-air festivals and institutional events, adapting to stage, street and itinerant formats. This versatility has allowed them to work in very diverse contexts while always maintaining a high artistic level. His discography includes three works: Smile (2013), Be Happy (2017) and Dream (2022), which reflect the evolution and consolidation of the project.
