Description

Shaina is much more than a Drag Queen; it is a complete stage experience. Led by José Luis Ostos Molina, an artist with an award-winning international career as a dancer, choreographer and artistic director, Shaina's show fuses the strength of Spanish dance with the glamour, humor and sophistication of drag art. I currently reside in Palma de Mallorca, but I travel often. Each performance is designed as a comprehensive production, where the music, costumes, make-up and staging are taken care of to the millimetre to offer a show of the highest level. Our mission is to transform any event into a unique and impactful moment, connecting with the audience through emotion, laughter and a waste of talent. We offer a polished, professional and versatile show, the result of years of experience in the most demanding scenarios. From a surprise appearance to a full gala show, Shaina guarantees visual impact and superior entertainment that will leave your guests talking for weeks.

Team

Mainly, Shaina is a one-man show starring a multifaceted artist. However, thanks to my experience as director of the dance company "Ballet Español AGUAFRESCA", I have the ability and network of contacts to scale the format according to the needs of the event. For larger productions, the show may include: Corps de ballet: 2, 4 or more professional dancers to create spectacular and large-format choreographies. Technical Assistant/Stage Manager: To ensure perfect coordination of music, lights and costume changes at complex events. All the collaborators are professionals with a proven track record in the world of entertainment. We work as an artists' cooperative, which guarantees maximum professionalism and legal and tax coverage for any type of contract.

Experience

My artistic career spans more than 25 years in the national and international performing arts sector: Drag Queen Performer: I have given life to Shaina in multiple events and as part of the cast of Stargirlshow, S.L., polishing a character that combines comedy, dance and elegance. Award-winning dancer and choreographer: I have been awarded as Spanish and European Champion of Sevillanas and Andalusian Champion of Dance. My work as a choreographer includes large-format productions such as the opera "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" for the 50th anniversary of the Mallorca opera. Artistic Director: I have directed companies such as the Spanish Ballet AGUAFRESCA, managing teams, creating and touring shows throughout the country. Actor and Producer: I have participated in international productions as a special feature in the film "Goya's Ghost" by Milos Forman. Currently, I am in charge of the production and realization of the podcast "Hotel Boutique, ¡Aquí No Hay Quien Trabajo!", which gives me a deep knowledge of audiovisual language. Continuous Training: I am studying the Double Higher Cycle in Realization and Production of Audiovisual Projects and Shows, to always be at the technical and creative vanguard.

Repertoire / service list

I offer a range of flexible services to adapt to any type of event: Show "Pocket" (15-20 min): An impactful intervention of 2-3 musical themes. Perfect for a surprise, a cocktail party or an awards ceremony. Gala Show (45-60 min): The complete show. A show with several costume changes, different musical styles (from copla and flamenco to the most current pop), interaction with the audience and moments of dance and comedy. Master of Ceremonies / Hosting: Conducting events, galas or parties. I bring dynamism, glamour and clever humour to ensure the event flows seamlessly and keep the audience entertained and connected. Custom Show Creation: I design and produce an exclusive show for your event, based on a theme, a brand concept or a specific celebration. Audiovisual Collaborations: Availability to participate in video clips, advertising, series or cinema, contributing my experience as an actor and my powerful image as Shaina.

Equipment, setup and transport

Equipment: I carry my own musical material in digital format (pen drive) and, if necessary, my headband microphones. The client must provide a professional sound system (PA), a suitable lighting space, and a private, secure dressing room or space for costume changes. Assembly: The technical assembly (lights and sound) is the responsibility of the client or the venue. I take care of my preparation and costumes, which can take between 1.5 and 2 hours. Transport: My services are based in Palma de Mallorca. In Mallorca: Transport is included in the final budget. Outside Mallorca (Peninsula, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands): All travel expenses (return flights, check-in of extra luggage for changing rooms, airport-hotel-venue transfers) will be added to the budget and will be managed with total transparency.

Spaces

I'm an artist, not a space. I operate in all types of venues that meet the minimum technical requirements: theaters, auditoriums, hotels, restaurants, event venues, nightclubs, ships and corporate spaces. I adapt easily to the characteristics of each place to always offer the best possible result.

Estimated prices

My commitment is to offer a show of the highest quality with 100% professional and transparent management. All contracts are made with a contract and are managed through an artists' cooperative, guaranteeing the registration of the artist with Social Security and the issuance of an official invoice with VAT. 1. Actions in Mallorca: Show "Pocket" (15-20 min): From 350€ + VAT. Gala Show (45-60 min): From 550€ + VAT. Master of Ceremonies: From 250€/hour + VAT (minimum 2h). (These fees include the cache and local management and listing costs.) 2. Actions outside Mallorca (Peninsula, Canary Islands, etc.): For events that require travel, the budget is made up of two clear parts: Artistic Cache: From €600 + VAT, variable according to the duration and format of the show. This fee compensates for the performance and the total time spent on the trip (usually 2 days). Travel and Management Pack: A logistical pack is added to the cache that covers all the necessary expenses for the performance outside the island. This pack includes: Comprehensive management through the cooperative (contract, S.S., invoice). Return flights from Palma de Mallorca. One night in a hotel (minimum). Check-in of special baggage for professional clothing. Meals and internal transfers (airport-hotel-venue). The cost of this "Travel Pack" is calculated at real cost at the time of application and is presented as a single transparent item in the final budget, offering a fixed price without surprises.
