LOS ESLIM, we are three distinct paths united by the same root, Afro-American music. With the blues as our starting point and meeting place, we mix soul, rock, folk, and any sound that inspires us on both sides of the Atlantic. On our YouTube channel, where we will gradually upload tracks from our new CD “Tales InstrumenTales,” you will find live sessions, intimate recordings, covers, and original songs that reflect our eclectic character and our way of understanding music as a solid foundation from which to explore without limits. Welcome to our little corner where authenticity always has a place. ---

Troy Nahumko hit the road at a young age; by 17 he was already touring with Major Handy and the Zydeco Wolf Couchon and hasn’t stopped since. By 18, he had shared the stage with legends like Jimmy Rogers and Buddy Guy. At 20, he was chosen by a New York band, Little Mike and the Tornadoes, with which he crossed the continent back and forth time and again. He recorded two albums with this band and often served as the backing band for Muddy Waters alongside Pinetop Perkins and Paul Osher. Although he now calls Spain home, musically he still follows the path he learned so well on the other side of the Atlantic. Moi Martín has been playing for over 20 years. He started by joining Lino Vishnudatt and later, among many other groups, he collaborated with José Luís Naranjo and Lalo González in Poker de Blues. Another of his projects, Chilis con Carne, was a successful power trio that toured for several years through festivals and venues all over Spain. With Guitar Not So Slim, he began his career as a vocalist, which he now shares with Troy Nahumko and Lalo González in Los Eslim. Lalo González may be the oldest in the group, but you would never guess it given the energy he brings to each performance. Of course, age comes with experience, something Lalo definitely knows. His blues and jazz credentials include work in projects such as: Poker de Blues, Oscar Pérez Jazz Groupe, Jorge Navarro Experience, Celia Mur Cuartet, Charade, Algo Mas Jazz, Brasil Latin Jazz… His deep knowledge of percussion has led him to play with Fabio Miano, Cherryl Walter, José Luís Chicote, Charly González…
