Authentic flamenco with a contemporary soul – straight from the heart of art
Description
"Professional Flamenco Show – Fusion & Tradition" As an internationally award-winning professional dancer and choreographer, with more than 25 years of stage experience, I present a 60-minute flamenco show, rich in nuances, where traditional flamenco merges with elements of jazz, experimental sounds and world music. My productions have been presented on internationally renowned stages – operas, theatres, philharmonics and tablaos – and now I bring this artistic experience to Gran Canaria. The proposal is flexible: from solo performances to expanded formats according to the budget. Perfect for theme nights, cultural events, galas, festivals or as part of a hotel's entertainment programme.
Team
Código Jondo is a musical project that fuses avant-garde electronic music with traditional flamenco. It is formed by the singer Juan "el Juana", the producer Castora Herz and the flamenco guitarist Dennis Duffin. His proposal is described as a deconstruction of the codes of flamenco, incorporating electronic elements and sound effects. The group, based between Seville and Berlin, presents live shows that seek to bring the emotion of cante jondo to the stage. They have released several singles, such as "Omaíta de (Cegiriya)" and "Apego vacío (Buleríâ)", as previews of their debut album, which will be published by Raso Estudio. Código Jondo's style is characterized by being a combination of electronic elements, futuristic sounds and the purest flamenco, creating a unique proposal.
