Tribute to the best spanish pop-rock

Although Distrito Pop is a recently formed band (summer 2013), its members have extensive professional experience. With a solid, precise and elegant sound, the listener will be able to enjoy the best Spanish pop executed with recognizable melodies and solvent choruses. In this way, Antonio, Cristian and Miguel, will pay tribute to an important part of our culture with a selection of emblematic songs that inspired some of the best moments of our lives.

ANTONIO LÓPEZ (electric bass and vocals) Salamanca session musician with extensive professional experience. Malú or Hilario Camacho are some of the artists with whom he has worked throughout his career. He has also been part of numerous Salamanca bands, including 50/50 (jazz-fusion), LBP (La Banda del Puerto), Manuel Cobos (singer-songwriter), Mr. Blues (blues) or the folklorist Gabriel Calvo. MIGUÉL de la CRUZ (electric guitar and vocals) Professional guitarist with a long career in different rock and pop bands from Castilla y León since the early 90s. A combination between the quality of their sound and an excellent choice of processed effects, will be the fundamental contributions that will give personality to the sound of the band. CRISTIAN MURGUI (drums) Punch, forcefulness and precision would be three adjectives that could define the good work of this drummer. He has recorded with some of the best bands in Salamanca (Bye Bye Lulluby or El Niño del Pegamento among others). Cristian deploys the essence of pop-rock rhythms in an honest and generous way, inciting movement or dance thanks to his powerful groove. Without a doubt, the backbone of Distrito Pop.

Distrito Pop is one of the best Spanish Pop-Rock cover bands in the country. We have been sharing good live music for more than 10 years with a repertoire based on the best national pop-rock songs.

Último de la Fila, Radio Futura, La Guardia, La Frontera, Secretos, Sabina, Rosendo, Extremoduro, Fito, Loquillo, Seguridad Social, Barricada, Platero or Los Rodríguez are some of the bands we perform.

With the basic pack we include a small state-of-the-art equipment for about 100-150 people. For concerts with more attendees we have professional sound companies where we will adapt the sound equipment to the technical needs that each concert requires.
