Batucada Elas is made up of a team of percussionists with musical training and experience in live performances. The group consists of members committed to artistic quality, stage coordination, and audience connection. Depending on the contracted format, the team can consist of between 5 and 15 percussionists, allowing us to adapt to intimate or large-scale events. We work with discipline, professionalism, and a passion for live music.

We have experience in cultural events, festivals, corporate events, weddings, public parties, and private celebrations. We have performed in both open spaces and on stages, adapting to different audiences and contexts. We mainly work with acoustic percussion instruments (surdos, caixas, repeniques, timba, shakers, etc.), so in parade format, we do not need sound equipment or electricity. In stage format, we may require microphones and a PA system depending on the size of the event. We include setup, coordination, and transportation of materials within the agreed service (consult based on location). We always arrive with enough time for preparation and testing if necessary. ---

We are not a physical space for events, but an itinerant show adaptable to any environment: streets, squares, stages, indoor spaces, estates, auditoriums, or corporate venues. We adapt to the available space and advise on the best conditions to ensure the show has maximum impact. ---

The performance can take place in an itinerant format (street parade) or in a static format on stage.

Technical requirements

Street Parade Format (itinerant):

Dressing room or reserved space for preparation
No stage required.
No electrical supply required.
Ample space for the group's movement.
Clear meeting point and easy access for instruments.

🔹 Stage Format (static):

Stage suitable for the number of members (minimum recommended: 6x4 m for standard formation).
Sound system (PA) appropriate for the space and audience capacity.
Microphones for percussion (depending on the dimensions of the event).
Sound technician during rehearsal and performance.
Nearby power outlet.
Basic front lighting (and optionally dynamic lighting for nighttime shows).
